Michael J. Lewis has spent almost half his thirty plus year career with Chevron in information security roles and is, currently, a Senior Staff Security Strategist within Chevron Information Technology Company. Accomplishments and activities over this time span, include documenting and later revising the overall information security architecture (2005 and 2012). External to Chevron, Lewis is lead of the American Petroleum Institute Information Technology Security Subcommittee Legislative Workgroup (which reviews proposed cybersecurity legislation for industry impact and provides input/recommendations to API staff to help with their advocacy efforts) and a member of the International Information Integrity Institute (I-4) Member Advisory Committee
